My name is Rebecca Connolly and I am currently studying for my master’s degree in Forensic Psychology. I am conducting a study for my dissertation, investigating what affects attitudes towards child sexual abuse cases.The nature of this study is extremely sensitive and so discretion is advised. This questionnaire contains a short hypothetical scenario detailing an incident of child sexual abuse. Whilst this will not contain any graphic detail, you may find the content distressing. If you believe that this could be the case then please do not read any further.Participation in this study is completely voluntary. If you do agree to take part it should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete. Due to the sensitive nature of this research all responses will be anonymous. You have the right to withdraw from this study up until the point you submit your questionnaire. Due to the anonymity I will not be able to identify your data once it has been submitted.All information provided in this study will be kept confidential. All questionnaires will be kept secure and the raw data will not be seen by anyone other than my dissertation tutor and I.
